Bring the dog

A cabin your dog actually gets to enjoy.

A fenced main-level deck to let them out on, a few thoughtful extras waiting inside, and a quiet stretch of woods for the morning walk.

At the cabin

Built with the dog in mind.

From the fenced deck to the quiet woods out back, the cabin is set up so your dog can settle in as easily as you do.

  • Fenced main-level deck. A safe, open-air spot to let them out off-leash — morning coffee with the dog stretched out beside you, no hands on the leash required.
  • Quiet, wooded setting. Peaceful trails and space to roam on-leash right outside the door — the kind of walk that resets everyone.
  • Dogs genuinely welcome. Not a tolerated add-on — a real part of how we set the place up.

What we provide

A few things so you can pack lighter.

Waiting for you at the cabin, no extra charge.

  • Dog bowls

A pair of clean bowls for food and water so you don't have to pack them from home.

  • Outdoor tether

A long tie-out tether for the deck and yard — extra room to sniff around without the risk of a wanderer.

  • Treat jar

A jar of dog treats on the counter — help yourself, no judgment on second helpings.

  • Waste bag dispenser

Mounted by the deck door so you're never caught without one on the morning walk.

  • No-rinse dog shampoo

For muddy paws and creek-swim rescues — a quick freshen-up without dragging the hose out.

  • Dog bed on request

Message us before your reservation starts and we'll have a dog bed set out when you arrive.

  • Anything else?

Old towels for muddy paws, a specific treat, a crate — if there's something that would make the trip easier, ask us before check-in and we'll do our best.

A few house manners

Small stuff, easy to honor.

  • Off the furniture. The dog bed on request and the rugs are fair game — beds and sofas we keep for the humans.
  • Not solo for long stretches. A new space can rattle even a calm dog. If you're heading out for dinner, a crate or a short outing is the kinder call.
  • A pet fee at booking. Added by Casago at checkout — it covers the extra care that keeps the cabin ready for the next dog family.

Good to know

Dog questions, answered.

How many dogs are welcome at the cabin?
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Add them when you book so the pet fee is included and housekeeping knows.
Is there a fenced yard for dogs?
The main-level deck is fenced so dogs can be off-leash out there. The rest of the property is wooded and unfenced, so leashes or the outdoor tether are best for the yard.
What do you provide for dogs at the cabin?
Food and water bowls, an outdoor tether, poop bags, a treat jar, no-rinse shampoo for muddy paws, and a dog bed on request.
Are there dog-friendly places to eat and hike nearby?
Yes — several Blue Ridge patios welcome dogs, and most nearby trails and waterfalls allow leashed dogs. See the area guide for specifics.
